Terms of Service

By downloading or using Rekvio, you agree to these terms. They're written in plain English — no legal jargon. If something isn't clear, just ask us.

1. What Rekvio Is

Rekvio is a motorcycle maintenance tracking app that helps riders manage service schedules, log maintenance history, and receive reminders when services are due.

2. Your Account

You can use Rekvio as a guest without an account. If you create an account:

• You must provide accurate information
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure
• You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU/EEA). By using Rekvio, you confirm you meet this age requirement or have verifiable parental or guardian consent
• One person per account — accounts are not transferable
• You are responsible for all activity under your account

3. What You Can Do

With Rekvio you may:

• Add your motorcycle and track its maintenance
• Log service history and view reminders
• Access maintenance guides and compatible parts
• Use the app on any device you own
• Export your service history for personal use

4. What You Cannot Do

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of Rekvio
• Use Rekvio to build a competing product or service
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from Rekvio
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Use Rekvio for any illegal purpose
• Share your account credentials with others
• Impersonate another person or entity

5. Affiliate Links

Rekvio includes links to compatible motorcycle parts on third-party retailers (e.g. RevZilla, Amazon). These are affiliate links — if you make a purchase through them, we receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.

We only recommend parts that are genuinely compatible with your bike. We are not responsible for the quality, availability, or pricing of products on third-party websites.

6. Service Accuracy

Rekvio calculates service intervals based on manufacturer guidelines, your engine type, riding pattern, and service history. These are estimates only.

• Always refer to your motorcycle's owner manual for official service specifications
• Service intervals may vary based on conditions not captured by the app
• Rekvio is not liable for any mechanical issues arising from following app recommendations
• Safety-critical services such as brake inspection should always be performed by a qualified mechanic

Service interval data is sourced from publicly available manufacturer guidelines, owner manuals, and community-verified sources. While we strive for accuracy, this data may not reflect the latest manufacturer updates, recalls, or model-specific revisions. Always cross-reference with your motorcycle's official owner manual.

7. Availability

We aim to keep Rekvio available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may occasionally take the service offline for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features at any time. We will give reasonable notice for significant changes.

8. Your Data

Your motorcycle data, service logs, and account information belong to you. We process this data to provide the Rekvio service as described in our Privacy Policy.

You can export or delete your data at any time. If you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

9. Intellectual Property

The Rekvio name, logo, design, and content are owned by DaBuilds (operated by Dipin, sole proprietor) and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Your service logs and personal data remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to store and process this data solely to provide the service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rekvio is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Any mechanical damage to your motorcycle arising from following app recommendations
• Loss of data due to technical failures
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind
• Issues arising from third-party services we link to

11. Termination

You can stop using Rekvio and delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

If we terminate your account for a violation, you may not create a new account without our permission.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of Rekvio after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rekvio, DaBuilds, and its owner from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of Rekvio
• Your violation of these terms
• Any maintenance decisions you make based on information provided by the app
• Your use of third-party products or services linked from the app

This indemnification survives termination of your account.

14. Third-Party Platforms

Rekvio is available through Apple's App Store and Google Play Store. Your use of these platforms is subject to their respective terms of service. These platforms are not responsible for Rekvio or its content. In the event of a conflict between these terms and the platform's terms, the platform's terms prevail for platform-related matters.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.

If you have a dispute with Rekvio, we encourage you to contact us first at dabuilds.dev@gmail.com so we can try to resolve it informally. If we cannot resolve the dispute within 30 days, either party may pursue resolution in the applicable courts.

You agree that any claims will be brought individually, not as part of a class action or representative proceeding.
